Welcome to the Great New York State Fair. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Great New York State Fair mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Great New York State Fair is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.
Great New York State Fair Every summer nearly a million people pass through the gates of the Empire State Expo Center to visit The Great New York State Fair. The 12-day event celebrates New York State's agriculture, industry, technology and entertainment.
Over 200 acres of exhibits, animals, food and other attractions are on display. Visitors can watch a chainsaw artist in action, see the butter sculpture, cooking demonstrations, a lumberjack show and native Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Indian) dancing.
